The Goal:
Design a mobile app that helps people discover local artists and buy or commission artwork, so ordering a painting from a local artist feels as easy and trustworthy as shopping online.

The Challenge:
People struggle to find the right artist and artwork, then compare options with confidence. Trust gaps show up fast: pricing, authenticity, reviews, and the fear of getting the “wrong fit”. Commissioning needs clarity: users need to decide style, size, budget, and timeline, and align with the artist smoothly. Real-world frictions: language barriers, schedule mismatch, and payment methods that don’t work for both sides.

The Result
Built an end-to-end flow that starts with style selection, then supports discovery through search, filters, sorting, AI, and map, leading into artwork and artist profiles. Added a Compare experience so users can shortlist and decide faster (save for later, add to cart, remove). Delivered a high-fidelity prototype that supports both buying and commissioning behavior, grounded in defined user scenarios like gifts, decoration, souvenirs, and business purchases.
